"Boah, Bahn" - the first fictional web series by Deutsche Bahn - about Deutsche Bahn. Created and produced by yours truly.
With "Boah, Bahn!", Deutsche Bahn's image problem became a creative opportunity: instead of apologizing again and again, we created a story universe that puts attitude, humor, and closeness at the center. The goal is to build brand emotion through proximity and honesty.
The series universe we developed, produced, and distributed stands out not only through a social-optimized format and a diverse, relatable cast. The railway itself becomes an emotional breeding ground: a piece of everyday life that all of us know. Carried by characters whose questions, conflicts, and adventures we want to follow and experience.
We say a huge thank you to the entire team and are excited that it is finally getting started. All episodes are now online on Deutsche Bahn's social media channels.
Together with Stromberg director Arne Feldhusen, we take the mockumentary format to the next level: mockumentary x comedy short-form.
The campaign offers a full content world on two levels. The episodes serve as the core units, each built around micro-emotions and everyday observations that every user can relate to. On top of that, we use cameos and content creators as a subtle springboard into the Instagram and TikTok world.
